Employers of the Architectural Technology Program graduates and certificate recipients will express satisfaction with the skills of their employees.

Assessment #1

Assessment Strategy:

90% of the respondents to the Employer Survey conducted every 5 years will respond that they would employ future graduates and certificate recipients of the program.

Assessment Results:

80% of respondents to the Employer Survey indicated they would employ future graduates.

Action:

Two members will be added to the Advisory Committee to represent small firms to determine if their needs are being met

Assessment #2

Assessment Strategy:

90% of the respondents to the Employer Survey will favorably compare the skills of employees who are graduate and certificate recipients with other comparable employees.

Assessment Results:

78% of respondents to the Employer Survey compared graduates favorably to other employees.

Action:

State skill standards for Architectural Technology were identified this year. A review of the curricula against the standards will be conducted.
