Step IV B: Program and Learner Outcomes

Brainstorm & Prioritize Outcomes
- Each member of your unit team should take a few yellow stick-it notes. On each stick-it note, write a program goal or learner outcome you feel your program should be able to achieve.
- Have one person collect all of the stick it notes and write the outcomes and goals up on a board or overhead.
- Eliminate redundancy by combining multiple outcomes and goals into one outcome when appropriate.
- Check to see if there are any program goals that could be written as learner outcomes.
- As a unit team, prioritize the outcomes and goals you have listed. Choose 3-5 outcomes and/or goals to focus on for the next year. Write these outcomes and/or goals in the appropriate boxes on PEP form A.
